Robinhood Chain Volume Surges Past $920M as Memecoins Collide with Tokenized Stocks
Rapid growth on Robinhood Chain has reached new heights as daily decentralized exchange volume hit an all-time high between $920 million and $944 million on August 25. This milestone comes just over a month after the chain went live on July 1, with cumulative DEX volume already surpassing $47 billion by mid-August.
The rise in trading activity can be attributed to the increasing popularity of memecoins, with token CASHCAT briefly exceeding a $100 million market cap. Additionally, tokenized equities have found traction, with daily trading volume in RWAs reaching a record $85 million on August 25.
Uniswap has emerged as the dominant venue on Robinhood Chain, handling the bulk of DEX volume since launch. The chain's infrastructure is built on the Arbitrum Orbit stack, allowing teams to deploy custom Layer 2 rollups anchored to Ethereum.
