Robinhood Chain's DEX Volume Skyrockets to Record $10.47B Amid Trading Frenzy
Rising trading activity on Robinhood Chain has pushed weekly decentralized exchange (DEX) volume to an all-time high of $10.47 billion, up a staggering 105% from the previous week.
This surge in DEX activity marks a significant milestone for the platform, which was launched just a few months ago. According to SpendNode, daily DEX volume on September 1 stood at around $1.60 billion, representing a 61% increase from August 28.
The acceleration of DEX volumes has also led to a substantial increase in assets locked across DeFi protocols, reaching approximately $738 million as of September 1. This growth is expected to benefit not only Robinhood Chain but also its partner Arbitrum, which receives 10% of the platform's net protocol revenue.
The integration with Arbitrum has created a new source of fee-based revenue for the ecosystem, and rising DEX volumes make this partnership increasingly important. With ARB having gained over 142% since August 31, higher on-chain activity could generate more fees and deepen the economic link between Robinhood Chain and Arbitrum.
