Robinhood Contract Sets Stage for Ethereum Price Prediction on August 22

The Ethereum price on August 22, 2026, at 8pm EDT will be determined by a Robinhood contract. The contract uses the CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI) to calculate its outcome.

At the last minute before expiration, 60 RTI prices are collected and averaged to determine the official price. This average is used to settle the contract.

The contract offers a payout of $1 for every contract owned if the prediction is correct. Alternatively, owners can close their positions before the event resolves.
