Robinhood Crypto Revenue Slumps Amid Record Q2 Earnings

Share

Robinhood posted record second-quarter revenue and net profit despite a decline in its cryptocurrency trading revenue. The company's revenue rose 32 percent from a year earlier to $1.31 billion, while its net profit increased 48 percent to $573 million.

Cryptocurrency trading revenue took a hit, falling 38 percent to $100 million compared to the same period last year. However, quarterly cryptocurrency trading volume totaled $40 billion, with $18 billion coming from the Robinhood app and $22 billion from Bitstamp, which it acquired in June 2025.

Despite this decline, Robinhood is expanding its digital asset business. It launched the Robinhood Chain public mainnet this quarter, introduced a tokenized U.S. stock service for eligible users in over 120 countries, and released its first decentralized lending product, Robinhood Undo.
