Robinhood Crypto Volume Rebounds but Remains Below Last Year

Robinhood's cryptocurrency trading volume rebounded in August, rising 61% from July to $17.5 billion. Despite this increase, the total is still 38% lower than it was a year ago.

The majority of Robinhood's crypto trading volume came from Bitstamp, which accounted for $10.1 billion out of the total. The Robinhood app itself saw $7.4 billion in trading volume.

Bitstamp's volume rose 53% month-on-month but fell 30% year-over-year, while the Robinhood app's volume increased by a significant 72% from July but dropped 46% from August 2025.
