Robinhood Derivatives Launches BTC Price Prediction Contract for July 2026
Riding the wave of cryptocurrency trading, Robinhood Derivatives has introduced a new contract that predicts the price of Bitcoin on July 23, 2026. The contract is centered around the $65,000 mark, with various payout thresholds set for different price ranges. For instance, if the BTC price reaches or surpasses $65,100, the holder of the contract will receive 42 cents per unit owned.
Notably, this event-based contract allows traders to bet on the future price of Bitcoin without directly buying or selling the asset. The outcome is determined by CF Benchmarks' Real-Time Index (RTI), which collects and averages 60 prices in the last minute before expiration.
The contract comes with some caveats, including restrictions for individuals employed by certain agencies and those holding non-public information on Bitcoin. Traders should exercise caution when participating in this event, as it involves significant risk and may not be suitable for everyone.
