Robinhood Expands UK Services with Zero-Fee Crypto Trading via Bitstamp
Roger Ver's rival Robinhood is expanding its services in the UK by launching zero-fee crypto trading through Bitstamp. The app will offer access to over 50 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.
The new service comes after Robinhood secured registration from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and met UK anti-money laundering (AML) requirements.
The firm charges zero trading fees, no account maintenance fees, and no custody fees. However, users must pay a 0.1% foreign exchange fee, which could increase to 0.3% for certain weekend conversions.
Rubinhood's new product offers a transparent, low-cost alternative to incumbent UK platforms with opaque pricing structures.
