Robinhood Eyes Crypto.com Partnership to Boost Prediction Markets
Rhobinhood is reportedly in talks to partner with Crypto.com to integrate its prediction markets offerings into their trading application. This move would allow users to access Crypto.com's yes-or-no contracts directly through Robinhood's interface, expanding the platform's market selection and user engagement.
The partnership would demonstrate a diversified strategy for Robinhood, leveraging proprietary infrastructure through Rothera while aggregating third-party platforms like Crypto.com. The proposed agreement would bring Crypto.com into the fold, following earlier partnerships with Kalshi, ForecastEx, and affiliated platform Rothera.
Crypto.com debuted its OG prediction market platform in February 2026, and has since seen a significant increase in user engagement, with weekly activity expanding approximately 40-fold. The company's proprietary platform operates through Crypto.com Derivatives North America, which holds CFTC registration as both an exchange and clearinghouse.
According to Bernstein equity analysts, Robinhood's prediction markets are on track to generate $1.7 billion in revenue by 2028, with the company's price target raised to $160 per share from a previous estimate of $130. The prediction markets sector continues to intensify competition, with Cboe Global Markets introducing binary options linked to S&P 500 performance and Charles Schwab planning to distribute them to its client base.
