Robinhood Eyes Prediction Market Boost with Crypto.com Partnership
Roninhood's expansion of prediction markets continues as the company is reportedly in talks with Crypto.com to integrate yes-or-no event contracts supplied by the exchange.
The partnership, if successful, would enable users to engage in prediction market activities on Robinhood, a move that could potentially generate $1.7 billion in revenue for the firm by 2028, according to Bernstein analysts' predictions.
Robinhood first launched its prediction markets hub in March 2025 as part of efforts to comply with regulatory requirements from the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
The move comes amidst ongoing legal challenges for platforms in the United States, including claims by the CFTC that it has 'exclusive jurisdiction' over event contracts.
