Robinhood Futures Contracts: Bitcoin Price Determined August 12, 2026
The price of Bitcoin is set to be determined on August 12, 2026 at 7am EDT in a futures contract offered by Robinhood Derivatives. The contract uses the CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI) to determine the official and final value of the price. This index collects 60 RTI prices at the last minute before expiration, with the average price being used as the final determination.
If the prediction is correct, traders who own contracts can receive $1 for every contract they own. However, additional fees apply, and traders are encouraged to carefully consider their personal financial circumstances before participating in futures trading. The contract prohibits employees of certain agencies and individuals with material non-public information from trading on the Contract.
The event is open 24 hours a day, except for Thursday between 3am-5am ET, when there will be no trading. Similar events are restricted by eligibility requirements and trading prohibitions apply to futures, options on futures, and cleared swaps trading.
