Robinhood Launches Ethereum Price Prediction Market on August 9
On August 9, 2026, at 2am EDT, investors can bet on the price of Ethereum through Robinhood's crypto prediction market. The event contract resolves based on the Real Time Index (RTI) from CF Benchmarks. Sixty RTI prices are collected at the last minute before expiration, and the official final value is the average of these prices.
The outcome determines whether the price will be above or below a specific threshold. If the price exceeds $1,910, those who bet on it win $1 for every contract they own. Conversely, if the price falls short, their contracts expire with no payout.
The event contract is offered by Robinhood Derivatives, LLC, and trading hours are 24/7, except Thursday from 3AM-5AM ET. Individuals employed by Source Agencies or holding material non-public information on Ethereum cannot participate in the event contract.
