Robinhood Layer 2 Surpasses $1.46 Billion in TVL with Unprecedented Growth
Robinhood's Layer 2 is experiencing unprecedented growth, surpassing any other blockchain launched this year. In just under two months, its total value locked (TVL) has risen from $0 to $1.46 billion without a single significant dip.
This is an unusually rare pattern in the industry, where most new chains experience at least a few pullbacks as early incentives fade or liquidity providers rotate out.
The chain's underlying growth engine helps explain its success: instead of relying on token incentives to bootstrap activity, Robinhood Chain has been built around tokenized real-world assets and a direct pipeline from the existing brokerage user base, which already trusts the platform with real money.
According to data shared by MSB Intel, the Robinhood Chain Bridge hit a new all-time high of $439.7 million in bridge value, up 38.6% over the past week alone.
