Robinhood Offers Prediction Market for SOL's August Price
The cryptocurrency market has seen its fair share of predictions and bets on future prices. One such bet, offered by Robinhood Derivatives, LLC, is a prediction market for the price of SOL (Solana) on August 9, 2026, at 1am EDT. The contract uses CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI) to determine the outcome.
The contract resolves based on whether the price of SOL will be above $75.75, exactly at $76, or above $76.25 at the specified time. If the prediction is correct, owners of the contract receive a payout of 96¢ if the price is above $75.75, 68¢ if it's exactly at $76, and 4¢ if it's above $76.25.
The prices used to determine this market are based on CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI), which collects 60 RTI prices at the last minute before expiration. The official and final value is then calculated as the average of these prices.
