Robinhood Posts Record Quarter Despite Crypto Revenue Slide
Ridgewood-based online brokerage Robinhood has reported its highest quarterly revenue and earnings to date, despite cryptocurrency transaction revenue experiencing a significant decline.
The company's second-quarter revenue increased by 32% year-over-year to $1.31 billion, while net income rose by 48% to $573 million.
Crypto transaction revenue was the one area where Robinhood underperformed, dropping 38% from the same period last year to $100 million.
However, Robinhood's crypto trading volume reached a record high of $40 billion, with $18 billion coming from its app and $22 billion from Bitstamp, the exchange it acquired in June 2025.
