Robinhood Prepares for New UK Crypto Framework
Roadmap for success in the UK market is crucial for Robinhood as it gears up to meet the new crypto framework requirements. The company's local subsidiary joined the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) crypto asset register on July 31, 2026, confirming compliance with anti-money laundering rules under the current system.
The registration will allow Robinhood to offer certain crypto services in the UK until the new framework takes effect in October 2027. However, once that happens, firms doing regulated crypto work will need fresh FCA authorization, and applications for this regime are set to open on September 30, 2026.
