Robinhood Q2 Earnings: Revenue Grows 32%, Stock Price Slips

Share

Robinhood's second-quarter results showed significant revenue growth and record-breaking trading activity, but the company's stock price still fell after hours. The platform reported a 32% increase in total net revenue to $1.31 billion, with transaction-based revenue rising 44% to $776 million.

Crypto revenue was a notable exception, falling 38% to $100 million and partly offsetting the stronger trading results elsewhere. Net interest revenue rose 9% to $389 million as interest-earning assets expanded across the platform.

Net income surged 48% to $573 million, while diluted earnings per share reached $0.62. Customer assets and trading volumes reached records, with funded customers increasing 7% to 28.4 million and total platform assets advancing 32% to $369 billion.
