Robinhood Reaches New Heights Despite Crypto Fee Decline
Robinhood reported record-breaking revenue and profits in its second quarter, with total revenue reaching $1.31 billion and net income soaring to $573 million.
This marks a 32% year-over-year increase in revenue and a 48% jump in net income.
However, the company's cryptocurrency trading fees took a hit, dropping 38% from the same quarter last year to $100 million. Despite this decline, total crypto volume remained steady at $40 billion, split between $18 billion on the Robinhood app and $22 billion through Bitstamp.
