Robinhood Revenue Surges to Record $1.31B on Prediction Market Frenzy
Robinhood's second-quarter revenue has reached an all-time high of $1.31 billion, marking a year-over-year increase of 32%. Transaction-based revenue also saw significant growth, rising by 44% to $776 million.
The company attributes this success to the growing popularity of prediction markets, options, and equities on its platform. Event contracts have emerged as one of Robinhood's fastest-growing businesses, contributing to the surge in revenue.
However, despite the overall growth, crypto income saw a sharp decline, signaling potential weakness in cryptocurrency adoption and revenue for the company.
