Robinhood Sets Bitcoin Price Target for August 16, 2026 Futures Contract
The price of Bitcoin is set to be determined on August 16, 2026 at 10pm EDT by Robinhood. The outcome will determine how much each contract owner receives in payouts.
According to the terms, if the price of Bitcoin reaches $62,900 or above, contract owners will receive 78 cents per contract. If it hits $63,000 or above, they'll get 56 cents per contract, and so on until $63,200, where they'll receive 17 cents per contract.
The final value is the average of 60 Real Time Index (RTI) prices collected at the last minute before expiration. The trading hours are 24/7, except for Thursday from 3am-5am ET, when no trades can be made.
There are restrictions on who can trade: those employed by certain agencies and individuals with material non-public information about Bitcoin cannot participate in this contract.
