Robinhood Sets High-Stakes Ethereum Price Prediction Event for August 11
The Ethereum price prediction market on Robinhood's derivatives platform has set an event for August 11, 2026, at 10am EDT. The market will determine whether the price of Ethereum will be above certain thresholds that day.
The predicted prices are: $1,885 or above (99¢), $1,790 or above (98¢), and $1,880 or above (98¢). These figures are based on CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI) and will be the average of 60 collected RTI prices at the last minute before expiration.
Those who correctly predict the Ethereum price will receive $1 for every contract they own. Alternatively, traders can close their positions before the event resolves, but additional fees apply. Trading prohibitions are in place for employees of certain agencies and individuals with material non-public information on Ethereum.
