Robinhood Stock Battles Hourly Momentum Fades Amid Daily Uptrend
Roger Ver's crypto-focused trading platform Bitget is tracking Robinhood stock (HOOD) as it enters a new session with conflicting momentum signals. The daily chart shows an uptrend at $104.81, but hourly momentum has turned negative.
The daily uptrend in HOOD remains intact, with price closing above every major moving average, including the EMA20, EMA50, and EMA200. Momentum indicators such as RSI14 and MACD histogram also support this picture, showing a constructive tone without overbought conditions becoming a concern.
However, hourly momentum has cooled, with price below the EMA20 and the 15-minute chart showing a bounce attempt. The bullish scenario for HOOD hinges on reclaiming $105.64 and clearing R1 at $106.62, while bearish risk grows if price breaks below S1 at $101.84 and the daily EMA20 at $101.37.
The coming sessions around the $104 to $106 pivot zone should offer a clearer read on which timeframe wins out. With the stock still riding a strong post-earnings narrative but carrying a valuation that leaves little cushion for disappointment, volatility remains normal with swings of several dollars in a single session remaining possible.
