Robinhood Stock Slumps Amid Crypto Revenue Drop
Retail trading platform Robinhood Markets, Inc., known by its ticker HOOD on the NASDAQ, has demonstrated its ability to thrive when retail trading, crypto, and market conditions are aligned.
In 2025, Robinhood reported record revenues of $4.5 billion, a record diluted EPS of $2.05, and record net deposits of $68 billion with over 4.2 million subscribers to Robinhood Gold.
However, the stock has been under pressure in 2026, falling over 27% year-to-date due to a miss in earnings for the first quarter primarily attributed to lackluster revenue from crypto trading.
The current price per share of around $82.07 and a trailing P/E ratio of approximately 34.2 make Robinhood priced like a growth stock but not pure momentum.
