Robinhood Surpasses Expectations with Record Q2 Revenue

Share

Retail brokerage platform Robinhood delivered its strongest quarter yet, posting record Q2 revenue of $1.31 billion, up 32% year-over-year. Net income climbed 48% to $573 million and earnings per share reached $0.62.

The company's transaction-based revenue jumped 44% to $776 million, led by event contract revenue of $156 million, which surged more than 10x compared to last year. Options revenue also grew strongly, up 29% to $342 million, while equities revenue nearly doubled to $129 million.

However, crypto revenue fell 38% to $100 million, showing that digital asset trading is no longer the company's fastest-growing business. Despite this decline, Robinhood continues to expand its blockchain ambitions.
