Robinhood Takes Stakes in Crypto.com and OG.com
Retail brokerage Robinhood has taken minority stakes in Crypto.com and its prediction market subsidiary OG.com, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.
The deal was announced on September 8, 2026, as part of a multi-year partnership that will integrate OG.com's event contracts directly into Robinhood's retail application.
Crypto.com previously spun off OG.com as an independent company to manage this segment. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed, including the acquired ownership percentages, definitive valuations, or governance rights.
During Q2 2026, event contracts contributed $156 million to Robinhood's transaction-based revenues, surpassing the $100 million generated from cryptocurrency trading over the same period. Trading volume through the Prediction Markets Hub reached a record 13.6 billion contracts in the second quarter of 2026.
