Robinhood Taps Crypto.com's OG.com for Football Event Contract Routing

Share

Robinhood has partnered with Crypto.com's OG.com to route contracts for football events. The agreement, announced on September 8, adds another execution venue to Robinhood's prediction-markets business as the professional football season begins. According to Robinhood, selected football contracts started routing to OG.com on September 8.

Under the partnership, Robinhood Markets will receive equity stakes in Crypto.com and OG.com after OG.com is spun off as an independent trading platform. The size of the equity stakes or the timing of OG.com's separation was not disclosed by Robinhood. However, it was mentioned that the interests are valued at a forward-looking price, implying that the final structure may differ from current expectations.

Crypto.com founder and CEO Kris Marszalek described the agreement as the start of a strategic partnership. He also mentioned that OG.com plans to expand beyond prediction markets into futures and perpetuals, but did not provide a timetable for those products.
