Robinhood Teams Up with Crypto.com and OG.com to Expand Prediction Markets
Robinhood has entered into a strategic partnership with Crypto.com and OG.com to expand its prediction markets, starting with football event contracts. The agreement will see Robinhood routing a selection of football contracts to the CFTC-regulated exchange and clearinghouse associated with Crypto.com, which operates in the Crypto.com app as Crypto.com | Derivatives North America and through the separate trader-focused OG.com platform.
As part of the deal, Robinhood Markets will receive equity stakes in Crypto.com and OG.com following OG.com's spinoff as an independent trading platform. The equity will be priced in line with Citadel Securities' recent investment in Crypto.com Group at a $20 billion valuation.
The partnership comes amid rapid growth for Robinhood's prediction-market business, which has seen 13.6 billion event contracts trade through the platform during the second quarter alone. Since its launch roughly two years ago, customers have traded more than 45 billion contracts, including over 30 billion during the first eight months of 2026.
Robinhood will continue to route event contracts to other venues, including Kalshi, ForecastEX, and Rothera, a CFTC-licensed exchange and clearinghouse independently managed through Robinhood's joint venture with Susquehanna International Group. The company is also expanding its football prediction-market experience, offering contracts involving game outcomes, individual players, custom combinations, and other events.
JB Mackenzie, VP and GM of Futures and Prediction Markets at Robinhood, said, 'Routing event contracts to multiple venues helps create a stronger, more diverse and resilient marketplace. With football back and midterms fast approaching, we're thrilled to team up with Crypto.com and OG.com for what is sure to be an exciting fall for prediction markets on Robinhood.'
Kris Marszalel, Founder and CEO of Crypto.com and OG.com, added, 'This is the beginning of a strategic partnership between both companies. We're looking forward to making OG.com the most liquid venue globally for innovative derivative instruments, starting with prediction markets and quickly expanding into futures and perpetuals.'
