Robinhood Traders Bet on Ethereum Price on September 8, 2026
The Ethereum price prediction market on Robinhood is offering traders a chance to bet on the cryptocurrency's value at a specific point in time. According to the contract, the outcome will determine what the ETH price is on September 8, 2026, at 8pm EDT. The price used for this determination is based on CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI).
At the last minute before expiration, 60 RTI prices are collected and averaged to get the official and final value. This average will be used to settle any open contracts. Traders have three options: they can sell their contracts for a profit or loss before the event resolves, or close their positions with additional fees applying.
The contract prohibits certain individuals from trading on it, including those who work for Source Agencies and hold material non-public information about Ethereum. It's essential to note that futures and options trading involves significant risk and may not be suitable for everyone.
