Robinhood's Bitcoin Price Contract Set for August 27, 2026
On August 27, 2026, at 11pm EDT, Robinhood's contract will determine the price of Bitcoin. The contract uses CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI) to calculate the average price of BTC over the last minute before expiration.
The payout for correct predictions is based on the price range: $80,200 or above yields 71¢ per contract, $80,300 or above pays 54¢, and $80,400 or above pays 41¢. If the prediction is incorrect, traders can close their positions before the event resolves.
The contract prohibits trading for individuals with material non-public information on Bitcoin and those employed by certain source agencies.
