The cryptocurrency market is abuzz with speculation about the price of XRP on August 8, 2026. Robinhood's Crypto Prediction Market has created a contract that allows users to predict whether the price of Ripple will reach certain thresholds at exactly 11pm EDT.
The contract resolves based on a simple average of the CF Benchmarks' Real-Time Index (RTI) for the 60 seconds prior to the specified time. If no data is available or incomplete at the expiration time, affected strikes resolve to 'No'.
The thresholds set by the contract are $0.25991 or above, $1.03991 or above, and $0.27991 or above. Users can choose which threshold they believe XRP will reach and potentially earn a payout of $1 for every contract owned if their prediction is correct.
Robinhood has included several trading prohibitions, including restrictions on persons employed by certain agencies and those with material non-public information about the underlying asset.
