Robinhood's Prediction Market Sets $77,000 BTC Price Target for August 28
Roland Robinhood's prediction market has made waves in the crypto community by predicting the price of Bitcoin on August 28, 2026 at 8pm EDT. According to the platform, there are several possible outcomes for the price of BTC. If it reaches $77,000 or above, a contract will pay out 97¢ per unit. If it goes even higher and hits $77,700 or above, the payout increases to 74¢ per unit.
However, if the price drops below $77,600, the payouts become more complex. In this case, a contract that predicts the price will be above $77,000 pays out 99¢ per unit, while one that predicts it will hit $77,700 or higher receives 74¢ per unit.
It's worth noting that these predictions are based on the CF Benchmarks' corresponding Real Time Index (RTI). The final value is determined by taking the average of 60 RTI prices collected at the last minute before expiration. Users can earn $1 for every contract they own if their prediction is correct or close their position before the event resolves.
The platform also warns that trading futures, options on futures, and cleared swaps involves significant risk and may not be suitable for everyone.
