Rock Star Murdered Over $1.5M Bitcoin Wallet in Brutal Wrench Attack
A brutal wrench attack in Mexico has left four people dead, including a Mexican rock star and his family. Jonathan Meléndez, part of the band Camilo Séptimo, was killed along with his pregnant wife, their three-year-old daughter, and their housemaid.
The incident occurred on September 1 at the family's apartment in Atizapán. Meléndez and his wife were found tied up at the scene with gunshot wounds to their heads, while their daughter had similar injuries.
Local media reports suggest that the motive behind the killings was related to Meléndez's crypto savings, which allegedly included $1.5 million worth of Bitcoin in a hardware wallet.
