Rogan Calls Out Trump Family's Crypto Profits: 'Billions' Made During Presidency
Podcaster Joe Rogan has criticized the Trump family for making 'billions' through business ventures, including cryptocurrency, during Donald Trump's presidency. The comments come as scrutiny of the president's financial interests continues.
Rogan mentioned that the Trump family is involved in cryptocurrency and that their meme coin has sparked discussions about potential conflicts of interest. Critics argue that investors are effectively buying into the president's brand and political power through this venture.
Records show roughly $1.4 billion in profits connected to Trump's crypto ventures, including his meme coin and other digital-asset businesses. The White House deputy press secretary, Anna Kelly, previously stated that neither the President nor his family has ever engaged or will engage in conflicts of interest.
Rogan also spoke about a lawsuit against Truth Social and its parent company, Trump Media & Technology Group, alleging that they are selling privileged access to information generated in the course of the president's official duties. Rogan questioned who is advising Trump on these business deals, saying 'Who's telling him this is a good idea?'
Craig Agranoff, a Florida Atlantic University political professor, noted that Rogan's comments may land with parts of his audience, especially younger male listeners who follow him closely and also backed Trump.
