Russia Approves Landmark Crypto Regulation Bill

The Russian Parliament has approved a landmark law regulating the crypto market in Russia. Bill No. 1194918-8, titled “On Digital Currency and Digital Rights,” was passed in its second and third readings by the State Duma, the lower chamber of Parliament.

The new law sends the bill to President Putin for signature, who will then sign or veto it. The approval is a significant step towards establishing clear regulations for digital assets in Russia.
