Russia Unveils Draft Crypto Market Regulations with Minimum Capital Requirements

The Bank of Russia has released draft regulations for launching the cryptocurrency market in Russia. The proposed rules aim to establish conditions for organized trading under exchange rules, which will calculate the market and weighted average price of assets.

A minimum capital requirement ranging from 50 million to 250 million rubles is proposed for depositories managing cryptocurrency and digital rights, depending on the nature of their activities.
