Russia's Central Bank Proposes Rules for Cryptocurrency Trading
The Bank of Russia has proposed new rules for cryptocurrency trading in the country. The draft regulatory acts aim to create a framework for launching the digital asset market, including organized trading of cryptocurrencies and digital rights.
The regulator has outlined the basic conditions for the operation of the new infrastructure, which will include fixing the trading procedure in exchange rules and calculating the market and weighted average price for these instruments.
Digital depositories will be responsible for keeping records of cryptocurrencies and digital rights. The minimum capital requirement for digital depositories will range from 50 million to 250 million rubles, depending on the operating format.
