RWA Deposits Surge to $7.4B Amid Broader DeFi Slowdown

RWA deposits in DeFi markets surged to $7.4 billion in Q2 2026, despite a broader slowdown in the crypto lending market.

According to CoinShares and Token Terminal's report, tokenized Treasury funds and other traditional financial assets drove most of the growth in the RWA market.

The report found that nearly 70% of all RWA deposits were held on Ethereum-based lending markets, with Plasma ranking second and Solana continuing to grow through Kamino.
