As of September 3rd, RWA (Real-World Assets) leads institutional adoption in the crypto space with $38.76 billion in assets and about 3.3 million holders.

This is a significant milestone for RWA as it indicates that tokenized assets are entering mainstream financial infrastructure.

DeFi, on the other hand, dominates liquidity and revenue, with DeFiLlama showing $88.02 billion in total value locked and $305.19 billion stablecoin supply.

However, DePIN leads the sector-token performance, with a market-cap index gaining 25.89% year to date and 30.58% over one month.
