RWA Perpetual Futures Trading Volume Hits $62 Billion
RWA perpetual futures trading volume reached $62 billion in a week, nearing that of Bitcoin perpetual futures, according to data from Talos. This marks a significant milestone in the convergence of traditional finance with cryptocurrency.
The total weekly trading volume across all tracked venues was approximately $821.4 billion, with RWA perps accounting for about 7.5% of this total.
Talos reported that tokenized equities made up 57.8% of the total RWA perpetual volume, while commodities accounted for 28.2%. Hyperliquid emerged as the dominant venue for this activity, with $25.1 billion in RWA perps trading on the platform alone.
The data also showed that Q1 2026 RWA perps volumes exceeded the entire year of 2025's total trading volume in the category.
