RWAperp Secures $2 Million in Funding Round
RWAperp, a decentralized perpetual contract platform for traditional financial assets, has completed a $2 million funding round. The post-money valuation of RWAperp is now at $50 million.
The investors in this round include Lime co-founder Brad Bao, Cresta AI co-founder Tim Shi, Tesla Autopilot team member Phil Duan, Crux member William Freiberg, Charles Ferguson, and members from the a16z and Sequoia Scout systems.
RWAperp is currently live on OKX X Layer with 19 markets available, covering assets such as BTC, ETH, SOL, Korean and US stocks, S&P 500 index, DRAM index, gold, silver, and WTI oil. Users can use USDC, USDT, or USDG for settlement without needing to hold or manage underlying assets.
RWAperp is designed with a focus on stock market trading features, including a pricing, liquidity, and risk management system that addresses issues such as after-hours gaps, overnight jumps, halted stocks, and company actions. The platform uses multi-issuer composite oracles and provides a professional order book trading terminal.
