S&P Global Invests $110M in Kaiko Amid Crypto Data Push
Kaiko has secured an investment of $110 million in its funding round, led by S&P Global. This significant boost to Kaiko's total funding highlights the growing importance of institutional-grade data in the crypto space.
The Paris-based data company has been building its infrastructure since 2019, when it raised $5 million in a seed round. Since then, it has secured $24 million in Series A funding and $53 million in Series B funding from investors including Eight Roads and Revaia. The latest investment brings Kaiko's total funding to $110 million.
The partnership between S&P Global and Kaiko is significant, as it provides a credibility stamp for Kaiko's data products and a sales channel into global financial institutions. S&P Global's distribution reach will help accelerate Kaiko's positioning as a 'Super Validator' in the tokenized finance ecosystem.
