S&P 500 Adds $2 Trillion in Market Cap, But Bitcoin Remains Unfazed
The S&P 500 index has seen a significant surge in recent times, adding approximately $2 trillion to its market capitalization this month alone.
This remarkable growth, however, seems to have left Bitcoin unimpressed. Despite the massive gains of traditional assets, Bitcoin's price has remained relatively stable, hovering around $43,000.
The reason behind Bitcoin's indifference lies in its fundamental value proposition, a store of value and a hedge against inflation. With the S&P 500 index reaching new highs and the global economy growing steadily, investors may be less inclined to seek refuge in Bitcoin as they would during times of economic uncertainty.
