Sacrispeyre Stands Firm on Bitcoin: 'The Best Years Are Still Ahead'
Sarah Sacrispeyre, CEO of Meta Mining group, is confident that Bitcoin's best years are still ahead. Despite a recent drop in price, she believes the network remains strong and its long-term potential is unchanged.
In an interview with Cointribune, Sacrispeyre said her company has tripled its mining capacity since 2021 and remains committed to pure Bitcoin mining. She attributes this success to the region's competitive energy costs and a skilled workforce.
Sacrispeyre, a computer engineer by training, started mining in 2012 when Bitcoin was worth under $10. Despite initial losses, she saw the long-term potential of the network and has been a proponent of its growth.
The recent shift towards artificial intelligence (AI) among listed miners has not swayed Sacrispeyre's commitment to Bitcoin mining. She believes that AI is more profitable in the short term but that Bitcoin remains the 'queen of cryptocurrencies'.
