A Binance-backed company, SafePal, has disclosed a security breach that exposed the personal information of nearly 40,000 customers.

The breach occurred due to an authorization flaw in one of its order-tracking plug-ins, which allowed unauthorized access to customer data, including names and addresses.

SafePal stressed that seed phrases, private keys, and customer funds remain fully secure, but warned users who have already shared their private keys or seed phrases through phishing to treat their wallet as compromised.
