Saint Seiya creator Masami Kurumada has filed a lawsuit against his former manager and other defendants for allegedly embezzling approximately 4.68 billion yen from three companies between 2018 and 2024.

The lawsuit, filed on September 2 with the Tokyo District Court, seeks roughly 2.89 billion yen in damages after about 1.8 billion yen had already been repaid.

Kurumada's lawyers claim that some of the allegedly embezzled funds were used for cryptocurrency investments, although they have not specified which cryptocurrencies or platforms were involved.
