Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego has reiterated his bullish outlook on Bitcoin, stating that it could eventually reach $1.86 million in value.

In an interview, Salinas compared Bitcoin's potential to gold's market capitalization and estimated that if the cryptocurrency were to achieve parity with gold, its price would need to increase to around $1.86 million per coin.

This is not a new view for Salinas, who has repeatedly argued that Bitcoin can compete with gold as a store of value.

In June, he revealed that 70% of his liquid financial portfolio was allocated to Bitcoin, and he emphasized that 'as soon as I get my hands on some fiat, I turn it into bitcoin.'
