Samsung Integrates Stablecoins into Wallet App, Revolutionizing Payments

Samsung has announced plans to integrate stablecoins into its Wallet app, potentially changing the way people make payments. At Galaxy Unpacked 2026, Samsung revealed that Wallet will support new forms of digital value, including stablecoins.

The company showcased a USDC-style account in the Wallet UI, complete with Send, Receive, and Top Up controls, although it did not specify a launch date or supported regions.

Samsung's Galaxy Card on Visa was also unveiled at the event, which will tie into Samsung Wallet and offer 5% cash rewards on eligible purchases. This pairing could serve as a bridge between stablecoins and everyday checkout for consumers.
