Samsung SDS Explores Stablecoin Infrastructure with Upbit's Operator Dunamu
Samsung SDS, the IT services arm of Samsung Group, is exploring stablecoin infrastructure and digital asset systems. The company has been discussing potential cooperation with Dunamu, the operator of South Korean crypto exchange Upbit.
The CEO of Samsung SDS, Lee Jun-hee, mentioned during a second-quarter earnings call that his team has already secured capabilities in digital asset infrastructure through tokenized securities platform projects and end-to-end validation of stablecoin processes. He expects this collaboration to help expand their presence in the digital asset infrastructure market.
