Samsung SDS Partners with Upbit Operator Dunamu for Stablecoin Infrastructure
Samsung SDS is exploring opportunities for collaboration with Dunamu, the operator of Upbit, to develop stablecoin infrastructure and AI-based payment models.
The news comes days after Samsung Electronics announced plans to add stablecoin support to its Samsung Wallet, marking a significant expansion of the company's digital asset push.
Samsung SDS' CEO Lee Jun-hee stated that the company has already developed differentiated business capabilities in digital asset infrastructure through its work on the Korea Securities Depository's tokenized securities platform project and end-to-end validation of the full stablecoin process.
The partnership aims to leverage Samsung SDS' IT services, cloud, and security capabilities alongside Dunamu's blockchain expertise to lead the market in digital financial infrastructure.
