SanDisk Dominates Record-Breaking Stock Perpetual Futures Volume
The total volume of stock perpetual futures on centralized crypto exchanges reached $665.42 billion in August, according to WuBlockchain Data Center.
This figure represents a 4.6% increase from July's $636.19 billion and is 56.5 times higher than January's $11.58 billion.
The majority of this activity can be attributed to just three underlying stocks: SanDisk (SNDK), SK Hynix (SKHYNIX), and the SpaceX-tracking SPCX contract.
Together, these assets accounted for 50.4% of the market's volume in August, with SNDK leading the way at $193.58 billion, followed closely by SK Hynix at $75.89 billion, and the SPCX contract at $65.93 billion.
