Bitcoin's recent price surge has seen its market cap increase by nearly 22% in just seven days. The cryptocurrency, which is up from a low of $62,679 on August 17 to a high of $81,265 on Tuesday, has also seen Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoin stash rise by around $15 billion.

Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin, is believed to have mined a large amount of BTC in its early days. According to Arkham Intelligence, Satoshi holds approximately 1.096 million Bitcoin across roughly 22,000 addresses, although the exact figure remains uncertain.

At Bitcoin's current price of $78,280, the value of these holdings is estimated to be around $85.82 billion, up from an earlier figure of $71 billion before the recent price increase. This makes Satoshi one of the largest potential individual Bitcoin holders, with their coins remaining untouched over the years.
